Peppers Restaurant
Excellent food and service, we visit Scarborough especially to visit this restaurant. John & Kath are innovative with their menu and ideas, i cannot recommend this restaurant highly enouth

Peppers Restaurant
Used to be really nice when they did Mexican food but since they changed the menu not so good.

Ox Pasture Hall Country Hotel & Restaurant
We needn't have booked, for a friday night it was very quiet, just two table (inc our own) a total of 4 diners. What a shame, the food here is impressive, good ingredients, sensitively handled by an experienced caring chef, just a little low on ambience. They need more customers. Little appetizers while you were waiting were a good taste of things to come. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the terrine and pate flavoursome. Main courses of venison and lamb also went down well. My only complaint was the desserts didnt inspire me, but thats just my taste, I still managed to eat one. With 3 courses, beers, bottle of wine, coffees and one single malt the bill was just over £100. For a special occasion dinner this place has to be on the list. Excellent service, the maitre d worked with Gordon Ramsey, hes well trained.

The Copper Horse
It all sounds good when you read the menu, presentation is not bad, but Its a case of out of the freezer into the microwave. A pub menu that only differs by the garnish to a million other pubs around england. Probabley comes from GastroPub Central We could all reheat this, no need to pay restaurant prices. Very disappointing.

Peppers Restaurant
Well, as yet, I havent visited the restaurant, I have simplyreviewed the website with the intention of using it. However i do find the website in the main very good in that youcan review a sample menu etc. BUT and important part of eating out is the ambience so why NO PICTURES? a shot of the exterior and a couple from inside would say a lot for the place and maybe some plate shots too.. So where are they? PS: I shall RE-review this after I have visited
